Update: Returned to celebrate a birthday. Fresh off a flight, had another enjoyable time. Server, Renee was geat. Her energy was amazing. Invited out by my friend. The vibes were definitely fun and chill. I learned that hookah and cigars were a part of the establishment. There was no smell of cigar, which was a concern. Purchased both food and drinks while sitting at the bar. Had 2 mega margaritas (1 strawberry and 1 mango), wings, salmon bites, and tequila shots. We socialized and made connections with other guests. Our server seemed reserved. However, Mckenzie, remained active preparing drinks and entering food orders. She ensured our needs as well as other customers' needs were met. I look forward to visiting again.

As a regular at GVO, I love that every experience is different, and today was no different. I brought my family with me from Atlanta and they loved it. The food, the vibe, and the atmosphere are the reasons I keep returning. I have to give a special mention to my waitress, Tatiana. She was extremely sweet and attentive just a truly incredible waitress. Hopefully, she'll be here waiting for me on my next visit!

Definitely a vibe for my 1st time going. Went for my birthday and I had a blast. The food and drinks were on point. Everything was decently priced. And the waitress was amazing. There was no complications that most places have with splitting the check at the end of the night. The DJ was playing plenty of hits from turn up sounds to chill sounds keeping the vibe as needed. It was quick and simple reserving a booth with quick response times to any questions I had. Definitely would go again.

My friends and I went to GVO for a late brunch. One of my friends made the reservation, so I didn’t know much before arriving. There were five of us, and we each paid about $24 just to reserve the table from 3 to 8 p.m. There wasn’t a special event—just the cost to hold a spot—which feels unnecessary, but it seems to be the trend at some places now. When I arrived, the space wasn’t too crowded yet, and the music fit our vibe perfectly. Even though I showed up later than my group, the service was excellent. My friends were already eating and enjoying their meals. One ordered the pan-seared lamb chops, which came with a sauce so good I called it the “magic sauce”—I wish it was offered on more dishes. I had the Cajun seafood mac and cheese, which was creamy, flavorful, and very satisfying. As the afternoon went on, the restaurant started to fill up. The crowd skewed younger as the day progressed, and the music shifted with the DJs. DJ Cool Breeze started with a set that matched our energy, but when DJ Butter took over, the sound switched to match the younger crowd’s taste. It wasn’t bad—just different. Since I’m in more of a “day party era,” the 3–6 p.m. window was perfect for me and my friends. We probably would have stayed longer if the music had stayed closer to our preference. Overall, we had a great time. The service was on point, the food was very good, and the vibe worked for most of our visit. If you’re into a lively brunch that transitions into more of a younger, high-energy party atmosphere, GVO is worth checking out. I’ll definitely be back.

We went for happy hour. I would suggest because I don’t think it’s worth the regular price. Food was tasty. The atmosphere was like a lounge club type.

OMG!!!! THE FOOD!! I had the catfish plate. It comes with 2 catfish and 2 sides. I selected collard greens and candied yams, and when I tell you everything was going delicious I actually had to blow my food because it was that hot. I have never had my food to have smoke coming from it at a restaurant. SEASONED PERFECTLY! It was so amazing. One of my friends had the lamb chops, and she said they were the best she has ever had. Another friend had a grilled chicken salad, and she said it was really good and the chicken was cooked.Great and l seasoned well. The service was amazing. Everyone was so friendly, including security. The dj was awesome. The atmosphere was laid back and entertaining at the same time. The later it gets, the crowd comes. UPDATE... we went again! Food BOMB....again! Hot and fresh again! New picture added Seafood Turkey leg..MIC DROP GOOD! smoking hot and fresh
